Happy Father's Day

I did wish my Dad Happy Father's Day just now.  Well, it is still Father's Day here. Again, there are so many days to remember - Day for mom, Day for love, day for thanks, day for rose, day for this, day for that... Seriously seems a scam by gift & card industries to make money. And that's why I don't waste money on gifts & cards. But why not take an opportunity to remember, thank & show your love for these important people in your life... So, on this Father's Day, again, I want to thank you Dad. For being you, and for making me what I am today. Thanks.. & I love you!!!!

It's been a nice interesting week. I've been working out quite well. Didn't really watch any new movie except Snatched (7/10 - good performances & interesting but nothing gerat about it. Although Benecio Del Torro does looks like Brad Pitt); The Descendants (8/10 - great performances & interesting storyline, good movie); Bbudah Hoga Tera Baap (6/10 - a fun masala movie for masala & Bachchan fans). Weather has mostly gotten better. But I still just mostly rested this weekend & got good sleep. Cooked too, a new omelet+mixed-veg subzi and ch-ch-chholey. Looking forward to a great week!!

Attack The Block... (Happy Father's Day Daddy!!)

I watched my third pre-screening in New York after Bang Bang Club & Beastly, on this Wednesday. This is a British movie from the producers of Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead with Nick Frost & bunch of new/unknown actors.  The story is about a bunch of teenage kids who are like a small local gang of hoodlums in southern London. They are mugging this nurse who apparently lives in there building, when something falls from sky. Turns out its an ugly looking monkeyish alien, with no super powers or anything. So they kill it, cuz it scratched the leader of the group Moses. They are celebrating the kill when it turns out there are many more aliens dropping from sky into the city. These don't have any super power either but they are Bear+Wolf kinda strong things with no sight but smell only & great strength. The story us what happens next cuz they are trying to kill Moses. It's a well done movie which is funny & scary at places. I hear its getting great reviews. Performances are very good & music is great too. I would give it 7/10.

The weather has been weird as usual. Rainy or coldish or Hot. I still have some sorta cold that's why. This weekend is going to be exciting & fun though. I am going to Philadelphia for a conference. Excited!! Also, we re-applied for my mother's visa. Hopefully this time it will be alright. I bought a nice navy jacket at Macys, love them. Great customer service & great stuff too. I bought it for $145 on Tuesday but they had a special one day sale today line they have 10 times a year; I went gain & they gave me $15 back as it was marked down for sale today. Awesome!! BTW, did netflix android app, take off HTC EVO from there supporting devices? Sucks..... Anyways, rest is all cool, hope you are doing great too. Tell me, wassup?? Happy B'day Maa... Happy Fathers Day Papa!!!!!

It was my mom's b'day and I was here to attend it after 3 years. My heartiest wishes & love for my dearest mom, one of the greatest person I know on this earth & admire the most. I think moms may be the best person for most of the kids in there life (until they grow up & other best half comes in, i guess u know what i mean. & the the holy fight of power/hold begins, lol!!). However my mom is really a great person... so much patience, love, caring, bearing and so much more. It's not easy to be even related/known to me, just imagine being my mom; I am not sure if even I could take it myself. But she has not just taken it, but done a great job of it. Thanks a lot Maa, for being my Maa... Happy Birthday!!

Yesterday was Fathers Day... I actually did not greet or give Fathers Day wishes to my Dad, but want to say something (have said so much for maa, how could i dare to leave Dad now). He is one of the coolest person & coolest dad I guess. My friends used to be scared of him when I was a kid; few thought he was very strict/harsh & others thought he was just too chatty, lol. My dad is kinda extremist, he has loved & cared for me extremely & could have been angry or mad at me at extremes too. But all of that has moulded me into whatever I am today, and I do think I am great... umm greatest... ahh better than the best!! Thanks a lot Dad & Happy Fathers Day!!
