Jai Mata Di, Let's Rock... Chiropractor/Acupuncture :)

Jai Mata Di, Let's Rock... well, if you are wondering what's this, this is what Himesh Reshamiya used to say as his famous quote on Zee Saregama show; & I like it!! It's last day of Navratri today & y'day was my last fast for this one. Today was supposed to be my Tuesday fast but I'll skip on it for this time, too much fasting going on. Also I had one full week (or more) of all Vegetarian/Vegan diet. Not American Vegetarian where not only eggs & stuff is ok but Fish is considered Veg too (when did fish start growing on trees? may be in US they do, I havent seen it). Didn't go to temple yet but maybe tonight or this weekend. There is only one Hindu temple in Manhattan.

Yesterday I had my first ever Acupuncture session. It was not scary/bad. I guess I have a phobia of needles (as kid, for getting shots, I used to cry even before the needle got in) like most of us. But Acu needles are hair thin & at most feel like a mosquito bite. The Acupuncture Specialist was talking abt Chi & something and how 10 session will do lot of good for me. We'll see... I have been trying Chiropractor (which is ok too) for my back & now got referred to Acu. Maybe I'll write  a detailed blog about all of this. So thanks for reading this... Jai Mata Di, Lets Rock!!

I got fooled... by myself!!!

I know, some of you might be very happy to hear this, that I got fooled & that too by myself. You would be thinking that it's obvious that it should happen to me. What am I talking about?? Well... turns out I have some haters too. How do I know?? People making hate comments on my blog. Really!! It's so sweet n cool!! Why?? Firstly... when people start hating you & criticizing you, it means you are making progress in life. Secondly... it's amusing to see that people have so much time to waste there energy on me for negative things. I mean I don't have enough time & energy to hate anyone, what good does that do except giving me extra tension. But... it's cool. The point is I accept that I got fooled by myself. But I am only a human, or am I??
I am a Man... who's actually a Woman.... who's actually a Horse!!!
I left from work at 6 today and was expecting to reach home in 30-40 mins as usual. I got on the metro train from Park Street to Davis Square (here's the link to the metro plan). I had my awesome Sony-Walkman with cool noise isolating headphones on. Enjoying some new songs I got from Dulha Mil Gaya & Pyaar Impossible. Songs are actually nice, but I loved songs from Radio... (yeah Himesh haters, I again like his music & voice. It's think its still lil nazal but with a new pinch!!). Well, Davis square is 6 stops away from Park Street & Central Square & Harvard square are on the way respectively. The train came really late today, I waited almost half an hour for train at Park Street. I got on to train & kept enjoying my loud musinc with no outside noise disturbing me, so I was really in the rhythm & mood shaking my head & tapping my feet. By the time we reached Central Square, I saw that there were 2 girls sitting next to me and they were looking at me & smiling too. Seemed like one was about to say something but just didn't, I was lil happily surprised. I thought they might be liking my music (if they can hear) or linking my style of listening to music or maybe they just like me. Again, the train was taking long pauses at the station today but I was happy enjoying my new music (& the company of 2 pretty girls). The train reached Harvard Square and it seemed the girl said something to me but I didn't pay attention (why did i do that??). Now both of girls were looking at me enjoying my music & smiling. It took long time for the doors to open this time &the girls got off with all other people. Few people got it but the train kept standing for long time & I kept enjoying music further (not thinking of those girls!!). Now the door closes & the train starts heading back... yes, the train starts heading back to Park Street. I was like, what the hell happened?? Am I dreaming or what??. It's already 1.5 hrs almost for a 30 mins ride & now this. I immediately took off my headphones & got off at Central Square really pissed. But now I hear the announcement that there is some technical problem (or derailment) because of which trains are not going ahead of Harvard Square & they are running free shuttle-bus from there to Davis Square. They kept making that announcement at regular intervals. I had to wait another 30 min for next train to arrive & they had announcement playing in train too (with sincere apologies from MBTA & asking for patience!!). So... it turns out that the announcement was on all the time & I was just not ready to hear. Even when (supposedly) those girls tried to tell me. I just kept plying cool & enjoying the music. It totally costed me 3 hrs to reach home because of all this. It happens though, humans do mistakes & I am just a human... or am I??
I am a Man.... who's actually a Woman.... who's actually a Horse!!!

April Fool...

"April Fool banaya, to unko gussa ayaa" (I made April Fool, she lost her cool), its a lovely song (one of the very few Indian songs for april fool; actually only one I am aware of). Today is Fools Day & I saw a weird dream... Himesh Reshammiya was performing outside my Colony in front of a small crowd in his new short hair look singing 'lut jaun is karzz pe' song from Karzz. Himesh singing on streets may be a happy thought for few people cuz they think this is what he deserves or maybe again painful to hear him sing. But I don't hate him, he may not be great he's an okay singer and i like some of his songs. (He's definitely a terrible actor though and he should just concentrate on music; he was looking okay in short hair though, lol!!). However we need to appreciate the importance of Fool's Day & fools in this world. Afterall they are the ones who let others feel smart; if there are no stupid people in this world, who would we look down at and feel good about ourselves. I am not kidding here... everyone plays there role in this world & so does the so called fools or stupid people (they could be damn irritating & PIA at times though!!!). And what about the tons of jokes & unintentional fun they add to our lives :)

I remember April Fool day as those nice days when it used to be tough to believe anything what friends told you because didn't want to be fooled, and always try & devise ways to make others APRIL FOOL. And not just on April 1 but the game used to continue for the whole week or even month (and the silly pranks used to be like 'ur shoe laces are open' or 'ur shirt is stained' etc, and we didn't even used to believe even if it was true). As a kid you are cheerful and excited about everything and try to enjoy it, but things change as you grow up and sometimes it becomes tough to be even excited about happy things or life anymore. Nothing special has been going on in past days, just usual stuff. Even the TRM trainings were off for 3 days (which was more than awesome) & are going to get over next week. BTW, I heard a news that US is going to give $1.5 Billion every year for next 5 years to Pakistan as aid; i think its too bad & it sucks!! You want to handover money in hands of an irresponsible country which cant take care of even themselves, just imagine how will that money be taken care of... what do you ppl think? Alright boys n girls and dear friends, that's it for now. Please keep blogging & keep reading my blogs (& COMMENT to let me know of your views). This is RAHUL saying, Good Bye & Good Luck... HAPPY FOOLS DAY, HAPPY NAVRATRI , JAI MATA DI & JAI HO!!!!!
